All children in Colorado can apply for up to 15 hours per week of free, high-quality preschool in their year before kindergarten through Colorado’s Universal Preschool program.

  • Families may qualify for more free hours based on a number of qualifying factors, per available funding. See more information here.
  • Depending on the provider, families have the option of paying for additional hours if desired.
  • Families of 3-year-olds should contact their school district for preschool services.
  • Preschool-aged children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) should contact their Special Education Administrative Unit (AU) before registering.

The Teller County Mental Health Alliance (The Alliance) is a multi-organization collaborative supporting the mental health needs of the community.

The Alliance began in 2018 as a grassroots effort in response to growing community concerns about mental and behavioral health in the community.

Our vision is for a supportive community that offers stigma-free support, treatment, healing, and well-being for all individuals facing behavioral health challenges, including access to resources, suicide prevention, and comprehensive care navigation.

  • WIC- Women, Infants, and Children: The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that provides nutritious groceries, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and other services free of charge to Colorado families who qualify. WICs goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under age 5 healthy.
