Habitat for Humanity in Teller County: Habitat for Humanity in Teller County is nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home.
Financial assistance is dependent upon family needs. Call for details and services available.
The Storehouse is a ministry of Woodland Park Community Church provides emergency resources and assistance with the following ministries: financial assistance, firewood, “Next 48” food bags, household goods, laundry assistance, hot showers, transitional housing, medical lending, cold weather wear, medical lending closet, and job assistance help.

WICs goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under age 5 healthy.

All children in Colorado can apply for up to 15 hours per week of free, high-quality preschool in their year before kindergarten through Colorado’s Universal Preschool program.
- Families may qualify for more free hours based on a number of qualifying factors, per available funding. See more information here.
- Depending on the provider, families have the option of paying for additional hours if desired.
- Families of 3-year-olds should contact their school district for preschool services.
- Preschool-aged children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) should contact their Special Education Administrative Unit (AU) before registering.
